The History of the SWAG and the CFCS

On the history of Cuteology

The history of cuteology is long and stories, far too long to be exhaustivly detailed here. There have been many books dedicated to the history, includeing the cutest thing in the world thorughout the ages, the most influential scholars of the field, and the impact of the field on other major studies. As these resources are readily availible, this page will serve instead as a breif overview of the history of my institution and the CFCS (Cutie Factor Calculated Scale) as those are the most relevant abbreviations to the subject of this site.

To begin, the SWAG was founded in 1891 by the honorable Doctor Herbert West, himself one of the most acomplished cuteologists of all time. He envisioned this school as a place for the greatest minds of the field to congregate and study. By the end of West's life, several hundred scholars from around the european continent, and 4 from the New World, had come to share their knowlege. The first Great Cute Conference was held on November eighth 1899, and has been held again on that date every 10 years. This conference is considered the crown jewel of the SWAG, with many on the greatest discoveries of the field, and many of the new "cutest in the whole wide world" champions being unveiled during these events.

The CFCS was formulated in 1643 by the "founder" of cuteology, Abigail DeMoines Iowa. While many of Iowa's theories are considered antiquated, lack evidenced, or suffer from the presence of her well known biasies, the CFCS wass well designed, and is still considered the greatest system of cuteness measurement. This remains the crown jewl of an otherwise tarnished career.
